EVERYONE HAS THEIR FAVORITES
And personally, I don't know if I could list all of my favorite movies, games, or shows, so here are a few that inspired a bit of extra work. These stories have gripped me as an audience, or have given me a glimpse of the great potential they possess. As time goes on, I hope to at least put up what art I can for these great marvels of human ingenuity and creativity.
METROID
From the first moment I saw that iconic Chozo powersuit in old Metroid II posters, I knew I would love the series. Metroid has employed classic side-scrolling gameplay, as well as upgrade-driven progression and infamous villains. Yet the actual story itself seems illusive in most of the titles, let alone any insight into the characters within its universe. As one of the many fans of Metroid, and in tribute to the progress the series has made through the Prime installments, Other M, and the professionally released comics, I have devoted the pages within to this title and its great potential.
LEGEND OF ZELDA
All of us seek adventure, and one of the classic ways to fulfill this fantasy is to dive into the realm of Hyrule. The ever-changing dynamic of this series, from the original legend to Skyward Sword, has captured the hearts of countless gamers. Beastly puzzles await players as they dive headfirst into dungeons, collect equipment, and battle for the well-being of Link's world. Beyond this, I have constructed props and costumes for Link, and have also begun weaving the tale of war and woe over the golden Triforce.
UP AND COMING
The main list may be short, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving others out on purpose. Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Space, Final Fantasy, Odin Sphere, and Okami among others are all titles I hope to add to this collection. From style to gameplay to story, these titles have proven unique and brought new life to the gaming industry. It is my privilege to be a fan and have the ability to produce artwork based off of these works.
